7th ELA Department Head

WELCOME TO A NEW SCHOOL YEAR!

I would like to take this opportunity to say that I am ecstatic to be part of your child's educational journey. I am a graduate of The University of Texas Pan American where I obtained a Bachelor's Degree in English and a Minor in Communication Studies. This is my 15th year in the teaching profession, which I thoroughly love and enjoy. I have a passion for literature and writing and hope to instill that same passion in each and every student. English Language Arts 7th grade is a course that will implement previously learned skills as well as challenge learners to reach their highest level of creativity and individual ability. I look forward to working with all students and witnessing the end result of what promises to be a rigorous and rewarding year.
