About Mrs. Barreiro
My name is Marta A. Barreiro and I was born and raised here in McAllen Texas. I have been a 7th grade science teacher and head tennis coach here at Sharyland North Jr. High since 2005, when the school opened. I began and ended my primary and secondary education with Sharyland I.S.D., Graduating in 1995. I received an associate’s degree from South Texas Community College for Computer Information Systems in 2002. I then receive my bachelor’s of Science Kinesiology degree in 2004 from the University of Texas Pan American. I am very happy to be back and working for Sharyland I.S.D.. I really enjoy working, engaging, challenging, and seeing my students develop their knowledge and skills in different areas of science.
