I graduated from UTPA in 2004, earning a Bachelors's degree in Anthropology. I received my Masters in Educational Leadership in May of 2020. I am a certified 4-8 Generalist, 4-8 Math, EC-12 Technology Applications, and English as a Second Language Educator.
I started teaching at The Pharr Oratory of Saint Philip Neri School System teaching Texas History, U.S History, Geography, and World History in 7th – 10th grades.
I joined the Sharyland ISD family in 2005 in the ESL Department. I taught English, Math, Science, and History for two years. I then moved to the Math Department, where I taught 7th grade Math for the past 12 years and also served as the Head of Department for four years. I am going into my 18th year teaching, and I will now be serving our students as the Computer Applications teacher.
