7th Grade ELA
Teachers will be posting assignments and videos via Google classroom.
Below you will find a couple of links that teachers will be using to assign lessons for 7th grade.

Students will be assigned writing prompts through Google Classroom by their teacher starting on Monday.
Please make sure that you check on your Teacher's Google Classroom page for more detailed information and for specific assignments. To log into google classroom go to classroom.google.com and sign in using your Sharyland ISD e-email information.

Please make sure that you are using capital letters.
8th Grade ELA
During this time 8th grade ELA students will continue to work on weekly assignments provided through Google Classroom where they can find additional support and communication with their respective ELA teachers. Students will continue to use programs such as Newsela and CommonLit which can be viewed via desktop, laptop, or smart device and can be accessed through up-to-date browsers, such as Google Chrome, Safari, or Firefox.
For Istation, students can find the program through our district’s page by clicking on the Academia Tab and locating the Istation link. In order to use Istation at home, students will need to download and install the program onto their device/computer.

IMPORTANT - Please type in the following for the Domain type: Sharyland North Junior High .Student username and password are the same as their computer login information. If students have difficulty accessing their credentials, their teacher can look this up for them.
We will continue to support students with their learning through this time and highly encourage daily independent reading for 30 minutes. All teachers will be available through Remind and Google Classroom if you have any further questions.
